Phil's plan for 2022 was an attempt on the 4 historic routes across the Bristol Channel. Adding to the challenge, Phil is a breaststroker and hoped to become the first recorded and ratified swimmer to swim across the BC breastroke!

His first swim, Penarth-Weston was very early in the season and super cold. The tides were against Phil, resulting in a DNF. Second swim was PEnarth Clevedon, success! Third Swim was weathered out and the fourth, Ilfracombe to Swansea was a success! Reports below.
